What will President Barack Obama eat when he arrives in Israel? Organizers have already made sure he won't be disappointed. "It will be a fusion of American and Israeli cuisine," chef Shalom Kadosh says of the dinner he will serve. Kadosh, the executive chef at Fattal Hotels, was tapped to prepare the dinner for Obama and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when the two meet next week at the latter's residence in Jerusalem. Obama will arrive on his first official visit as president to Israel on Wednesday, in what will be a 48-hour tour of Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Kadosh, a renowned chef in Israel and abroad, was also involved in hosting Presidents Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush when they arrived to in Israel. "I took part in many high-profile state functions of this sort, but I am excited just like the first time. Much thought has been put into the menu," Kadosh says.
