Israel Hayom economics reporter Hezi Sternlicht, Palestinian Media Watch founder and director Itamar Marcus and Channel 1 reporter Ayala Hasson were awarded on Sunday with Israel's Media Watch award for media criticism. The awards ceremony was attended by Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein and International Relations, Intelligence and Strategic Affairs Minister Yuval Steinitz. "Sternlicht, as Israel Hayom's economics commentator, deals with serious financial topics without fear and without paying attention to what is considered politically correct," the award judges wrote. "He serves as an example of professional journalism."
