"The three Jewish teenagers were actually kidnapped by a Jew for economic reasons," claims a sickening online post that has now gone viral. It is based on an investigative television report from Germany that was supposedly kept from the Israeli public by the defense establishment. The young non-Muslim French woman who originally posted the report clarified that the murderers, who are not Palestinian, essentially facilitated the Israel Defense Forces' current operation in the Gaza Strip. There are no rules when it comes to denigrating Israel. Another post, by a group that calls itself "Young French Revolutionaries," calls for attacks on Jews. The names, photos and addresses of 32 French Jews are listed as targets. Anti-Semitism in Europe is growing, and what is worse is that the anti-Semites have no shame. The 2014 version of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion is online. Stars of David and yarmulkes have turned into targets, as have synagogues. We are back in the 1930s. There is no reason to be jealous of the people responsible for Israel's public diplomacy efforts nowadays. The facts are not important. It does not matter if Hamas breaks five cease-fires, including the ones it initiated. Even the fact that Israel accepted the Egyptian cease-fire plan prior to the ground operation is unimportant. The story of the Middle East has already been written, and the details do not matter. Anything that allows anti-Semites to paint a swastika blue like a Star of David has become legitimate. The new anti-Zionist-anti-Semitic swastika, found on signs at protests, washes away European guilt. How can you come to them with complaints about their apathy toward Jewish suffering when Israel is worse in their eyes/ How can Jews be granted the right to self-determination? Hello? Hamas is a terrorist organization. But, as we already realized, the facts do not matter. From their perspective, by the way, just like way back when, the Jew is all-powerful. They are right about one thing: Only the hatred of Jews can unite Europe in a coalition of Muslims, the extreme Right and the radical Left. There is no righteous man in Sodom European leaders can no longer remain ambivalent about what is going on all over their continent. The protests are becoming more and more violent, and in Paris, thousands show up to pro-Palestinian protests, despite the ban. Israeli flags are burned at these protests. Cries of "Death to the Jews" and "Jews to the concentration camps" have become frequent; it is as if it were Kristallnacht in 1938. Gaza is a great excuse to let the anti-Semitic demon back out -- in Berlin, too. If there had been just one righteous man in Sodom, one person who, during these protests, carried a sign against violence in general or against the rockets being fired at Israel, we would have perhaps been somewhat comforted. But during these protests, European cities are worse than Sodom. Has anyone in Europe thought to hold mass protests against Syrian President Bashar Assad or the Islamic State group (formerly known as ISIS) in Iraq which is terrorizing the Christians of Mosul? Oh come now, there is no need to blow things out of proportion. Is Assad Jewish- If Europe would stop for just a moment, it would understand that Jews are a part of the global campaign against radical Islam and against terrorism. Israel is not the problem here, it is a part of the solution -- an island of sanity and progress in a wild Middle East. The new anti-Semites realize that we are living at the end of an era, and that a global war of civilizations is taking place, even if they tell us tales of one big global village. And in this campaign too, the Jew is on the front line. However, we must not forget that today, the Jews also have a home front -- the State of Israel -- where they are always welcome. And here, the Star of David will always be blue and it will always be a part of the Jewish people's flag.
