האו"ם אישר: יום הנכבה יצוין בסמוך לחגיגות העצמאות

מביש: עצרת האו"ם אישרה הלילה (בין רביעי לחמישי) החלטה שלפיה "יום הנכבה" יצוין בארגון בסמוך לחגיגות 75 שנה לעצמאות ישראל.

השגריר באו"ם גלעד ארדן תקף את ההחלטה וכינה אותה "חרפה". השגריר הוסיף כי "קבלת ההחלטה רק מנציחה את הסכסוך".

90 מדינות תמכו בהצעת הפלשתינים, 30 התנגדו ו-47 נמנעו. בין הנמנעות גם אוקראינה, וזוהי החלטה מעניינית במיוחד מצד מדינתו של זלנסקי.

בחודש שעבר האוקראינים, יחד עם רוסיה, הצביעו בעד הצעה פלשתינית שבית הדין בהאג יוכל לשפוט את ישראל. בתגובה, הישראלים "נקמו" כשנמנעו מקבלת החלטה על מתן פיצויים לאוקראינה בעקבות המלחמה.

במהלך נאומו באו"ם ארדן הציג את כותרת ה"ניו יורק טיימס" לאחר הכרזת המדינה, שלפיה היהודים במדינות המוסלמיות בסכנה (הציוץ למעלה).
