A 40-year-old man was stabbed by a Palestinian hitchhiker on Tuesday near the settlement of Har Gilo in Judea. After taking his car to a garage near the village of al-Walaja, the man picked up the hitchhiker, who moments later attacked him with a knife and stabbed him in the arm. The alleged attacker fled from the car, while the wounded driver continued driving to the Tunnels Checkpoint south of Jerusalem, where he reported the incident to soldiers. Magen David Adom medics treated the victim, who was lightly injured, at the checkpoint. Police said they were trying to determine if the stabbing was an act of terrorism.
