International retailer H&M, which has operated a number of its clothing stores in Israel for some years, is expanding and plans to open the first Israeli branch of its home goods concept store, H&M Home, in 2017. H&M Home is slated to open its first two Israeli stores in the Azrieli Mall in Tel Aviv and the Rishonim Mall in Rishon Lezion in March 2017. "We're very excited about H&M Home opening in Israel. The new concept will provide customers with quality home fashions at an excellent price and a chance to create a personal home decor style," said Gilad Kroner, general manager of H&M Israel. The products to be sold at H&M Home Israel include pastel-hued and animal-themed collections for children's rooms and nurseries; storage baskets; bathroom accessories; throw pillows with geometric patterns, minimalist knickknacks in wood and straw, specialized dishware lines, and collections of decorations for birthdays and theme parties. One entire collection is made from environmentally friendly materials.
