An Israeli military court on Wednesday handed life sentences to four Palestinian terrorists who gunned down an Israeli couple in front of their children in Samaria last October. Four members of the Hamas terrorist group took part in the ambush killing of Eitam and Naama Henkin on a road between Elon Moreh and Itamar, east of Nablus, on Oct. 1. The Henkins' four children, including an infant, were in the car but were physically unharmed. Eitam Henkin was a U.S. citizen. The Oct. 1 attack was originally supposed to be a kidnapping, but that plan was thwarted by the fierce fight put up by Eitam Henkin before he was shot and killed at close range. Naama Henkin was shot dead immediately after her husband.
