Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Monday that ongoing Palestinian terrorist attacks are not likely to stop soon, but that the Israeli military is prepared for the challenges they pose. "Unfortunately, there are no signs that the current wave of terror attacks -- that is the wave of lone-wolf attacks -- is likely to stop or fade out," Ya'alon said. "We are doing everything in our power to stop the terror wave, but the IDF is also prepared in the event of an escalation." Ya'alon also said things have been calm along the both the northern and the southern borders. On Sunday night, Israeli troops charted the areas where three homes belonging to terrorists will be destroyed. The move is designed to increase deterrence among the Palestinian public.
