A day after U.S. National Security Adviser Susan Rice publicly criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's upcoming speech at Congress, Fox News commentator Greta Van Susteren posted counter-criticism on her Facebook page, attacking Rice.

On Tuesday, Rice said that Netanyahu's speech, scheduled for next Tuesday, was destructive to the relationship between Israel and the U.S.

"Has President [Barack] Obama's National Security Adviser Susan Rice gone off the deep end? What Kool-aid is she drinking-" Van Susteren rhetorted.

"Really? Netanyahu is the destructive one to the relationship-" she asked.

She went on to recount how Obama had been caught "trash talking" Netanyahu to then-French President Nicolas Sarkozy, and she further recalled the report according to which an Obama administration official had called Netanyahu "a coward."

She further suggested that several Democrats' decision to boycott Netanyahu's speech, U.S. Vice President Joe Biden's choice not to show up and the fact that Obama "won't find five minutes to meet with the prime minister" when he is in Washington were the destructive factors eroding the U.S.-Israel relationship.
