Yarden Ben-Ezra was driving behind a Brink's security truck through the northern city of Kiryat Ata on Sunday evening when he experienced a scenario that many people dream of: The truck's back doors suddenly swung open and a sack full out of money fell out onto the road.

The sack contained 400,090 shekels ($107,424) in cash, and its fall was apparently unnoticed by the guards inside the truck, who simply continued on their way, according to a report on news website 0404.

Ben-Ezra did not hesitate. He picked up the bag and followed the truck, trying to catch the driver's attention.

"I waved my hands and screamed so the truck would stop," he said.

"I ran to them carrying the sack. They were in shock. They said 'thank you' quietly and rushed away. I didn't even think about taking the money for a minute."

Brink's issued a statement on the incident, saying, "The incident is being looked into. The security guards immediately noticed that the door wasn't closed and returned to the area where [the bag] fell. All cash transfers carried out by Brink's are 100 percent insured."
