Makor Rishon was sold for 14 million shekels ($4 million dollars) and NRG was sold for NIS 3 million ($860,000).

As part of the terms of the sale, Israel Hayom agreed to employ 114 of 120 of Makor Rishon's managerial and journalistic staff for at least a year. Israel Hayom also agreed to employ 90 percent of Makor Rishon's freelancers and all 220 of its distribution workers.
