A survey carried out by Worldwide Independent Network/Gallup International found that the U.S. is perceived as the greatest threat to world peace, the BBC reported Monday. The annual end of year poll collected opinions from some 68,000 people in 65 countries. When answering the question of which country currently poses the greatest threat to world peace, 24 percent of respondents answered with the United States. Israel came in fourth place with 5%, along with Iran and Afghanistan. Pakistan came in second place with 8%; and China, with 6%, came in third. In Mexico, 37% of respondents said they felt the U.S. was the biggest threat to world peace.
