A total of 150 cases were closed because of insufficient grounds for a trial; 200 were closed due to insufficient evidence; and 140 cases were closed because the officer in question was found to be innocent. Last year, the Police Internal Investigations Department recommended that head of the Lahav 433 Unit Maj. Gen. Roni Ritman be tried for allegedly harassing a female police commander. Nevertheless, Police Commissioner Roni Alsheikh rejected the findings and reinstated Ritman to his role.
