Channel 2 published on Tuesday pictures of the devastated armored personnel carrier in which seven Israel Defense Forces soldiers were killed during Operation Protective Edge last summer. The APC was struck by an anti-tank missile in the Shujaiyya neighborhood of the Gaza Strip. The IDF recently concluded its investigation into the circumstances of the deaths of the seven Golani Brigade soldiers. Among the dead in the July 20 incident was Staff Sgt. Oron Shaul, whose body is still being held by Hamas. The IDF said it has not released the findings of its investigation "out of respect for the soldier whose body is missing." Shaul's family was briefed on the findings. The IDF did not confirm or deny that the pictures published by Channel 2 on Tuesday were of the APC involved in the incident.
