"Another point: Imagine if it was Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who brought a son to a closed cabinet meeting," Abramovich said during his report. In response to the report, Lapid said, "I invited my 17-year-old son to lunch and I made him wait for me during a two-hour Housing Cabinet discussion. I hope he does not report me to child services and complain that I bored him." Lapid's office said it was permissible for the finance minister to bring his son to his workplace. At the meeting, the Housing Cabinet discussed a plan to build 25,000 new housing units and market land plots for another 80,000 housing units by the end of 2014.
