The introspective will examine Adolf Hitler's life and ask how the Nazi party was able to rise to power in Germany • Bunker where Hitler hid during the Reich's final days, along with the room where he and his wife committed suicide, will be reconstructed.

A new exhibit examining Adolf Hitler's life and the Nazi party's rise to power in Germany will open to the public in Berlin next week. The exhibit, titled "Hitler -- How could it happen-" will be held in one of the giant underground bunkers built by the Nazis during World War II.

The bunker, which has been converted to a museum, was built in 1942 under the direct orders of the leader of the Third Reich, near the former Anhalter Bahnhof train station in central Berlin. The station was heavily bombarded by allied forces and taken out of commission.

The exhibit will take a close look at Hitler's life; from his birth in the Austrian town of Braunau am Inn to his suicide. It will include a reconstruction of the bunker where Hitler and senior Nazi leaders hid during the Reich's final days, along with a reconstruction of the room where Hitler and his wife, Eva Braun, committed suicide.

According to curators, the exhibit, which will span three floors, was designed with the help of historians and educators and will focus on several core questions. How were radical fanatics able to seize power in Germany? How did human beings become animals? Why did so many Germans cooperate with the Nazis? Why did so many soldiers and policemen serve in execution squads? And why did so many Germans remain loyal to Hitler until the very end of the Third Reich-
