Mazal tov: Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli and her businessman husband, Adi Ezra, on Thursday became the proud parents of their first child, a girl named Liv. Refaeli gave birth at the Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv shortly after 6:30 p.m. The new arrival weighed in at 3.18 kilograms (7 pounds), and sources close to Refaeli said the birth had been relatively easy. Both mother and baby were said to be doing well. Refaeli, who married Ezra in a celebrity-studded ceremony in central Israel last September, announced her pregnancy on New Year's Eve, sending out a picture of herself during a routine exam. Paparazzi have documented the progress of her pregnancy, and Refaeli herself posted numerous photos of her growing belly on social media sites. The Israel Hayom website was the first news outlet to carry news of the birth. Soon afterward, photographers flocked to the hospital, which had already taken steps to ensure the model's privacy would be respected. Associates of Refaeli said little Liv was "beautiful" and looks very much like Bar as a baby.
