Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his wife Sara and their son Yair took a family trip on Monday to the picturesque Zichron Yaakov area, south of Haifa. At Beit Aaronsohn, Netanyahu was given a folder containing letters exchanged between Alexander Aaronsohn, the brother of Nili leader Aaron Aaronsohn, and Netanyahu's late father, historian Professor Benzion Netanyahu, during the pre-state era. "These are copies of letters of my late father, who was 28 at the time," Netanyahu said on Monday. "He and Aaronsohn talked about the future of Zionism, the storm sweeping the world with the rise of Nazism, and the documentation of the Nili underground, which my father took part in as a historian. I am very touched. These are the basis of the new pioneering spirit."
