A knife-wielding 18-year-old female Palestinian terrorist was apprehended on Wednesday morning after having snuck into the community of Kedumim in Samaria with the intention of carrying out a stabbing attack. The terrorist was detained outside the home of Yeshurun and Dikla Gavish. Yeshurun's parents, brother and maternal grandfather were killed in a March 2002 terrorist attack carried out by a Hamas gunman in Elon Moreh. On Wednesday, security cameras picked up the female terrorist entering the Mitzpe Yishai neighborhood of Kedumim, west of Nablus. IDF troops were summoned and local security officers rushed to the scene. Dikla Gavish hid in her home's safe room after seeing the terrorist outside and called her husband to tell him what was happening. The terrorist was arrested in the yard of the Gavish home. Kedumim Mayor Hananel Durani said, "The vigilance of the Kedumim security team certainly prevented a major disaster here."
