Ten months after 3-month-old baby Chaya Zissel Braun was murdered in a Palestinian terrorist attack at a light rail station in Jerusalem, her family welcomed the birth of a new daughter at a hospital in Jerusalem on Sunday. The Braun couple, who have asked for privacy, told relatives, "We thank God for everything, and especially the birth of our sweet daughter." The Braun family had been on the way home from a visit to the Western Wall when the attack took place. The terrorist, Abdel-Rahman Shaloudi, was shot dead by Israeli security forces as he tried to flee. After Chaya Zissel's death, her grandfather eulogized her as "a pure girl with a holy soul who never did anything bad in life and was murdered for no reason."
Chaya Zissel Braun and 22-year-old Ecuadorean tourist Karen Jemima Mosquera Barrera were killed last October when a Palestinian terrorist rammed his vehicle into a crowd of pedestrians at the Ammunition Hill light rail station in Jerusalem.
