Yasser Mahmoud Abbas, the son of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, is a senior adviser to U.S.-based activist group OneVoice International, which has an Israeli arm that has partnered with the Victory 15 campaign to unseat Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Yasser Abbas is listed as a member of the Trustees Advisory Council on OneVoice's international website. According to OneVoice's description, the council "consists of energetic and dynamic leaders across diverse sectors who have shown a commitment to public service and can contribute expertise in an area necessary to advance the mission of OneVoice."

According to OneVoice, "Mahmoud Abbas' son is a member of the Advisory Council of OneVoice in the Palestinian Authority, which is working toward a diplomatic agreement and two states for two peoples. Just as Michi Ratzon, who ran in the Likud primaries, served on the Advisory Council in Israel, and David Azoulay, Avraham Michaeli, Yitzhak Vaknin and Yitzhak Cohen from Shas serve in the movement's lobby in Knesset, as do MK Elazar Stern, MK Rabbi Dov Lipman and many others.

"Any attempt to tie his influence to the movement in Israel is foolish and untrue. We do not recall any such claims or complaints about the issue when OneVoice led a campaign in support of Prime Minister Netanyahu when he was considering the option of a diplomatic arrangement."

Meanwhile, the Zionist Camp and OneVoice are continuing to deny any connection between them, even as more threads tying them together emerged in recent days. One such connection revealed on Monday is Assaf Halachmi, a Labor party member who also serves as OneVoice's information technology coordinator. Halachmi reportedly owns the domain name labor.org.il and is one of the founders of the site, which serves as "the ideological platform of the Labor party," and also runs Labor MK Eitan Cabel's website. He also, through his company Ahoy, owns the OneVoice Israel domain.

In response to these claims, Halachmi said, "There is no connection between Labor and OneVoice."

It also became clear that V15 field coordinator for Haifa, Omri Shifroni, is a current Labor member and formerly chaired Ta Ofek, the Labor party's student cell, at the University of Haifa. Shifroni declined to comment on the matter to Israel Hayom.

On Monday, the New Israel Fund sent a letter to Likud campaign officials, saying that it "was not and is not involved, directly or indirectly, in funding the V15 campaign.”

Also on Monday, V15 filed a police complaint against the Likud party for incitement. The complaint followed a video that was released depicting a masked terrorist making the "V" symbol with his fingers, with the number 15 inserted beside his hand.

Zionist Camp leader Isaac Herzog responded to claims of connections with V15 on Monday, saying, "We do not have any connection to the V15 organization. ... When I first heard that name, I thought it was an airplane or some kind of medical supplement."

The Likud responded to his statement, saying, "It is not surprising that Buji [Herzog], who was silent during the first investigation into NGOs, will also be silent during the second one.

"We call on the authority of the law to investigate all issues related to the V15 project and the extremist left-wing NGOs and other bodies that are funding it against the party funding and election propaganda laws."
