Transportation and Road Safety Minister Yisrael Katz has authorized Israir to operate regular flights to and from Ben-Gurion International Airport and Tblisi, the capital of the Republic of Georgia, in addition to the ones offered by Arkia Airlines. Katz has also given a green light to Arkia's request to operate regular flights to and from Antalya in Turkey and start direct flights from Ben-Gurion to Odessa, Ukraine.
