Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is willing to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Palestinian Quds Net news agency reported. Citing a Palestinian official in Ramallah, the report said that efforts are being made to arrange a meeting between Abbas and Netanyahu. Abbas reportedly has dropped previous preconditions for holding a meeting with Netanyahu. The Palestinian official said the U.S. had been applying pressure on Abbas to agree to meet with Netanyahu and that a such a meeting might take place in Jerusalem in the next few days. £
