Famed British actor Michael Caine has officially changed his name to ... Michael Caine. According to reports, Caine, 83, who was born Maurice Micklewhite, decided to officially adopt his show business moniker because of increased security checks at airports around the world. "An airport security guard would say, 'Hi, Michael Caine,' and suddenly I'd give him a passport with a different name on it," Caine said. "I could stand there for an hour. So I changed my name." The actor noted that the problem became even worse with the increase in terrorist attacks by Islamic State and other terrorist organizations. Caine, who is famous for films such as "Hannah and Her Sisters," "Get Carter" and more recently the "The Dark Knight Trilogy," chose his stage moniker in 1954, after seeing a poster for the film "The Caine Mutiny." "I looked up, and my favorite actor is Humphrey Bogart, and there it was," he said.
