Charges against members of a group of Jewish price tag attackers will be amended to accuse the alleged perpetrators of belonging to a terrorist organization, rather than an "illegal organization." "Price tag" is the name given to acts of vandalism and violence by radical Jewish settlers against the Palestinian population in Judea and Samaria. The seven members of the Jewish terrorist cell were originally indicted last month on multiple counts of vandalism, weapons possession, arson, assault, affiliation with an illegal organization, and other nationalistic crimes. It is believed the cell sought to exact revenge on Palestinians over the arrest of suspects in the Duma arson. The identities of three of the group -- two minors aged 16 and 17, and a 19-year-old soldier -- have been placed under a gag order. The other four defendants were named as Pinhas Shandorfi, 22, from the ultra-Orthodox settlement of Nahliel in the western Binyamin region, Michael Kaplan, 20, from Beit Shemesh, Itamar Ben Aharon, 20, from Jerusalem, and Shneor Dana, 28, from Maaleh Ephraim. Under the amended indictment, the two minors and the soldier will be charged with belonging to a terrorist organization.
